The cast & crew of SELF AT HAND:
Jack Hanley is a poet and playwright who recently completed the creative
writing MFA at New School University. Tastes Like Robot, the second module
of Self At Hand, premiered at Dixon Place as part of the Operation: Operation/Hot
festival in July '04 and appeared again as part of PS 122’s Avant-Garde
Arama in October '04. Jack's writing appears in the 2004 annual journal
of Runes, A Review of Poetry. Christopher Eaves is the artistic director
of eavesdrop. His 2001 work, TrueMyth (Blue Heron Arts Center, NY), was
chosen by The Advocate as one of the Stage Best of the Year. His brief response
to the 2004 presidential election appears in the Winter 05 issue of the
French magazine Purple Journal. Offstage, he has appeared with John Cameron
Mitchell in the film I Remember, in John Waters’ Hairspray and in
the Laurie Anderson music video Beautiful Red Dress. Cary Curran is a member
of Big Art Group and for the past two years has toured internationally with
Flicker and Shelf Life. She is also a Dazzle Dancer, a choreographer, co-creator/star
of Extravaganza! and she starred in Mike Albo’s Sexotheque. Her award
winning film Wonder Woman: Battle With the Basher has played in festivals
internationally. Cary appeared in the recently released film Adam &
Steve. www.carycurran.com Thom Sibbitt was most recently seen as Bob in
Moonchildren, produced by his Brooklyn-based company The Engine. Off-Off
Broadway, He has performed Nocturne (as a solo piece), Equus, and Rosencrantz
& Guildenstern Are Dead. He also had the pleasure to portray a dwarf
in Richard Foreman's Maria del Bosco. Self At Hand is Thom's second work
with Christopher Eaves, having performed in TrueMyth. Gary Baura works whenever
and wherever he can. Although his projects and design credits are wide-ranging,
Gary especially enjoys his full time position as Cary Curran's stylist and
handler. He is equally pleased to be working with Jack Hanley and Christopher
Eaves and would like to thank Jesus Christ for blessing his fingers with
divine magic. Nathalia Baca has been making art and designs in NYC since
1997. Joshua Coleman provides specialized audio services for live events.

Eaves as a company member of Pink Inc. art-in-motion for eight years. She
also performed voice and video work in Eaves’ The Well Hung Man &
The Hung Up Lady, Burning Child, and TrueMyth. Natalie is currently a practicing
psychologist and a mentor for adolescents at risk. |
